Mr. Martin is a long-standing member of the BOSS board of directors, serving as board president for many years of his tenure.  He is a strong advocate of school choice, including community and online schools, and feels students and their families should be empowered to make decisions on where to learn based on their own needs and preferences.   He believes academic success translates to stronger communities and workplaces, which are vital to the restoration of our region.  He serves as the Assistant Superintendent for the Columbiana County Board of Developmental Disabilities and is active in many community organizations.
