Job Title: 7-12 Math Teacher (Virtual Classroom)
Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-Time 7:15-3:15 M-F (2025-2026 School Year)
School: Buckeye Online School for Success (BOSS)
Job Summary:
BOSS is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our virtual teaching team as a
junior/senior high school math teacher. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with
technology and have the ability to learn the online instructional tools that BOSS uses. The
teacher candidate will engage students in learning through a live, synchronous online learning
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Plan and prepare lessons considering the learning standards, curriculum, learning objectives, and student needs
● Deliver planned lessons through live instruction using various teaching methods and resources
● Assess student learning through various methods including informal, formative, and summative assessments
● Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for all students
● Collaborate with teacher colleagues
● Establish and maintain communication with parents and guardians in regards to student progress and behavior
● Administer district and state assessments
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in education
● Hold a valid Ohio teacher license for 7-12 Integrated Math or equivalent
● Clean FBI/BCI background check
● Experience in online teaching is preferred
● Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment
● Proficiency in Google Tools
● Ability to efficiently learn and apply a variety of online educational tools
● Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to student success
